The charity has been set up with the sole focus of raising funds and awareness for a number of different projects and diverse collections of people around the world that all need a little help.
Each year the team at Tamar will be carefully selecting a project which we can aim our fundraising might towards. Last year we selected a project in China,
We have quite a strict criteria for the projects we work with - for instance they must involve children in some way; there has to be scope for us to have an on-going relationship with them; they have to involve not just money but also time - in other words, it's not just about chucking money at a problem for us.
